Specialized Seminar
B’AI Global Forum offers a course for undergraduate students at the University of Tokyo as part of the Specialized Seminar, focusing on AI, society, and ethics.
In the 2025 Spring Semester, we offered the course “Intimacy in the Age of AI: The Future of Love Beyond the Human.” Taught in Japanese, the class explored how intimacy is redefined in the AI era, considering perspectives such as self and other, being and non-being, and media. Based on these discussions, eight students developed their own original reflections and delivered presentations, which are collected here (in Japanese).
B’AI Global Forum has organized a class “Artificial Intelligence and Society” for students in the junior division in the University of Tokyo’s 2021 Summer semester. The class, conducted in English, was facilitated by Professors Yuko Itatsu and Yujin Yaguchi of Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies at the University of Tokyo, and featured guest speakers from various fields of expertise on the theme of “Artificial Intelligence and Society.” This essay collection contains essays written by nine first- and second-year students of the College of Arts and Sciences who took this class.
