Abstract

Virtual reality (VR) technology has been expected to enable people to actually experience what is happening from the perspective of others, and has even been called the “ultimate empathy machine.” However, recent research is revealing that it is not necessarily so. In this research meeting, discussion will take place with participants on how VR can be used in light of its limitations and impact that VR can bring to people.
